Tire test tower
The tire tower is used to perform measurements on a rolling passenger car tire and is placed on top of the drum dynamometer. Both the steering angle and vertical position of the wheel with respect to the drum are actuated electrically. The forces and moments acting at the wheel center are obtained from the strain gauge based measuring hub.
