RESEARCH PROFILE
Judith van Laar is Assitant Professor in the Signal Processing Systems group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). She also works as gynecologist at the Máxima Medical Center. Her activities at TU/e focus on technological advancements to increase detection of issues affecting mother and fetus, such as congenital heart defects.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Judith van Laar obtained her Master's degree in Medicine from Radboud University Nijmegen in 2004. She then went on to obtain her PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in 2012, on the fetal autonomic response during pregnancy and labor. She completed her specialization as gynecologist at the Máxima Medical Center in 2014. Van Laar currently works as gynecologist at the Máxima Medical Center and as Assistant Professor at TU/e.
