RESEARCH PROFILE

Juris Arrozy is a Postdoctoral researcher in the Power Electronics Lab, Electromechanics and Power Electronics (EPE) group of the Department of the Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research interests involve multiphase machine drive: its modeling, control in healthy and faulty situation, and the application of advanced modulation techniques to the drive system.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Juris Arrozy obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia in 2017 and 2018, respectively. In March 2019, he joined the Power Electronics Lab at the Electromechanics and Power Electronics (EPE) group as a PhD candidate, which resulted in a PhD thesis titled "Exploring Multiphase Inverters for Open-Winding Machine Drives: Topologies, Fault Tolerance, and Impacts of Modulation Techniques". Since January 2024, he has been working as a Postdoctoral researcher at the same group.
