RESEARCH PROFILE
Sen Zhan received his master's degree in Sustainable Energy at Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, Denmark. Before that, he received his bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He is now working on the PhD project Grid Edge Control, in which he collaborates with the three largest DSOs in the Netherlands Liander/Enexis/Stedin to develop market-based and technical approaches for voltage/congestion management of distribution networks, in order to efficiently use low-voltage grids and to accommodate increasing renewable energy sources.
