Her research focuses on teaching and learning mathematics, teacher education and professional development, and socio-cultural dimension of mathematics education. At ESoE, she is currently working on two research studies, Multilingual Mathematics Learning & the Hybrid Professional Learning Community in Pre-service Teacher Education.
Shintia holds a PhD in mathematics education from Faculty of Education - the University of Hong Kong, a master’s degree in mathematics education from Freudenthal Institute - Utrecht University and Sriwijaya University, and an undergraduate degree in mathematics education from State University of Jakarta.
