Camiel Beckers
Department / Institute
RESEARCH PROFILE
Camiel Beckers is a PhD Candidate at the Dynamics and Control group of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) under supervision of Igo Besselink and Henk Nijmeijer. His PhD work is part of the Horizon2020 project EVERLASTING. His research interests include energy consumption modeling of battery electric vehicles through use of physics-based and vehicle-dynamics related methods, with a focus on battery electric buses.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Camiel obtained both his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (2014) and master's degree in mechanical engineering (2017) at Eindhoven University of Tchnology (TU/e). His graduation project, under supervision of Rob Fey and Nathan van de Wouw, titled "Bifurcation-based shimmy analysis of landing gears using flexible multibody models", was performed in close collaboration with Siemens PLM Software and Fokker Landing Gear.
