The TU/e offers a free language course ‘Dutch in Summer’. This course is designed for students with no (or very little) prior knowledge of the Dutch language and is open to international Bachelor’s and Master’s students. To register for this course just tick the box in the online Confirmation statement (for more info see step 'Confirm your place at TU/e).
Dates to be announced.
- Classes are 2 hours per day and preparation for the class is an additional 3 hours daily.
- If you register for this course, you are required to attend all course sessions. The lessons are free of charge, however you will have to pay a no-show/cancellation fee of €100 if you cancel, if you do not show up to more than 75% of the classes, or if you miss the exam.
- The course book for this course costs €25 and will be handed out during the first lesson. If you register for the course, we will deduct the €25 from your guarantee fee.
- We advise you to bring a tablet/notebook/iPad for the homework assignments.
As this is a very popular class and places are limited, students will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. This means that acceptance will depend on the date that you submit the confirmation statement and that we receive your payment of the guarantee fee.
