"When I first visited Industrial Design, I was lucky that it was also Demo Day, where ID students display their projects. I was sold! So many different subjects and passions in one program, such a sparkling atmosphere, and so much freedom of choice. This allows me to develop my own identity and vision and immediately experiment with it. For my favorite project, I developed a prototype that allows citizens to visualize a future for society, and to discover the values they want to take with them in that future. I believe in the power of citizen participation and collaboration: social change goes more smoothly when we innovate democracy with forward thinking.

At TU/e, you feel really welcome. There are plenty of facilities, from workspaces to prototyping labs. TU/e is also abuzz with events. There's something for everyone! Eindhoven is a fun city, and everything can be reached by bike. Innovation is really part of the identity of the city. Later, I can see myself working as a social designer for complex societal issues. For example, for the national government or a municipality."
