RESEARCH PROFILE
Eelco Braad, MSc. graduated in 2005 at Groningen University while co-founding one of the first serious games developer studios in The Netherlands. Later he worked to set up and coordinate an international bachelor program in Game Design & Development at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Having published a few different papers and chapters on various game design topics, since 2016 he pursues a Ph.D. at the Human-Computer Interaction group at TU/e, while working as a senior researcher in the research group User-Centered Design at Hanze UAS. Braad's research interests lie where technology and education cross paths; particularly in game-based approaches and metacognitive development.
