RESEARCH PROFILE
Idil Gumruk is a PhD Researcher in the Unit of Structural Engineering and Design in the Department of the Built Environment of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). She is working on circular architectural applications of 3D printing concrete. Key subjects she focuses on are 3D concrete printing, circular design, computational design and optimization.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Idil Gumruk graduated with the Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Oregon in the United States in 2016. In 2019, she graduated from TU Delft with MSc in Building Technology. After three years of professional experience, she started her PhD research in TU Eindhoven in 2022, on circular design applications of 3D concrete printing.
