Time to enroll. How to proceed
Since Information Security Technology is a special mastertrack in the Computer Science and Engineering master program, IST mostly follows the same regulations as CSE, but has a different set of mandatory and elective courses. With a relevant BSc degree obtained at TU/e or another Dutch university, you are often admissible. In all cases, the admissions committee determines whether your (academic) experience and motivation suffice.
A pre-master is a great way to enter the IST program. Pre-master programs help close the gap between the entry requirements of the program and a Dutch bachelor's degree or diploma from a university of applied sciences (HBO). A pre-master program consists of 30 ECTS.
