I’M DESIGNING AN INFORMATION MODEL FOR HOSPITAL BERNHOVEN
"Bernhoven wants its patients to have access to high-quality healthcare information, to give them more control over their healthcare process. To enable this, Bernhoven is developing a regional health platform on which the hospital, general practitioners and patients can share information. I’m designing an information model for this platform to ensure information safety and quality. A big question there is ‘what makes information into information?’ Do your GP and the hospital use the same type of information for their blood pressure measurements, for instance? It’s all very interesting.
My program has a small year group, only 11 people, which is great because we get excellent discussions and can easily help each other. I really like information modelling, and I would like to do more with patient engagement and regional collaboration in my future career."
