My dream is to develop technologies for bone regeneration, which is why I’m focusing on orthopaedic biomechanics courses. Right now, we’re learning a lot about the chemical processes in the human body and how to influence those. I look forward to the next quarter, when I have courses on bone structures and biomaterials. Just imagine what kinds of therapies and interventions we could develop!
This master’s program gives you much more freedom to choose your own courses than I originally thought. It’s a big responsibility, but your mentor can help.
Studying in Eindhoven has been great. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and it’s easy to get in touch with teachers and professors. In the future, I’d like to work for a company, make discoveries, make a difference and help people. But before that, I would love to get a PhD.”
