ADVANCING INNOVATIONS IN ELECTRONICS & PHOTONICS

As a leading knowledge institution of the semiconductors and photonics industry in the Netherlands, TU/e actively seeks to attract international talents to Eindhoven and the Brainport region. Since 2023, TU/e has spearheaded the organization of summer school on Semiconductors and Photonics, together with academic and industrial partners. This marks our second summer school, with the exciting addition this year of hosting international students from all over the world.

The Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School (ESSS) will host 60 students and provide 16 lectures from industry and academia. Students will also participate in challenging projects, collaborate closely with the companies from the region, further enriching the learning experience while fostering new collaborations and exchanges.

Upon completion of the Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School, an international network within the field of semiconductors & photonics will be in your reach and you will have direct access to a range of opportunities in both research (PhD) and industry.

The Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School is a joint initiative of Apllied Physics & Science Education and Electrical Engineering at TU/e and the industrial ecosystem of Brainport Eindhoven.
