Networks

Networks keep our society and economy interconnected with any part of the world and at any moment. Every new access technology has traditionally sparked industrial and academic efforts to integrate yet one more possibility to our global interconnection network. In CWTe, we aim at network designs with low deployment, operational and maintenance costs able to serve future and demanding network services and applications. From the ultra-high reliability, ultra-low latency and/or ultra-high data rates requirements, several challenges emerge on managing autonomously the spectrum, the users, the infrastructure.

The Networks program relies on innovations at CWTe groups on signal processing, resource allocation, artificial intelligence, radio access technology etc. On our roadmap, we aim at a unique ecosystem of demonstrators and testbeds to bring students, researchers and engineers from academia and industry together and solve common challenges on future wireless networks.
