In the design of a large number of tools, systems or devices, the analysis of the dynamic behavior is of crucial importance. To analyze the dynamic behavior, use is made of models. In this project a model is developed for a device with a single degree of freedom. Based on experimental data, the model is used to determine a number of system parameters. The experiments are also used to make further improvements to the model.
