RESEARCH PROFILE
Luc Verwaal started as as a doctoral candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2023. His research is primerly focused on designing and implementing a new experiment in the SIntAQS group that combines trapped ions with ultracold atoms. This experiment will be a testbed for (many-body) quantum simulation, quantum chemistry and impurity physics.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Luc obtained his bachelor's and master's degree in applied physics at Eindhoven University of Technology. His master thesis was titled: Microbunching of an Ultracold Electron Source.
