RESEARCH PROFILE
Mahboubeh Keyvanara is a postdoc researcher working with Dr.ir.Irene Kuling, in the Dynamics and Control Group of the Department of Mechnical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Her core research centers around modeling and control of dynamic systems. In her current work, she studies mathematical modeling and control of soft robots to find a reasonable balance between the model precision and its applicability for control.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Mahboubeh Keyvanara received her MS.c in 2014 and her Ph.D in October 2020 in mechanical engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. During her Ph.D. she visited the Department of Nutrition and Movement Sciences within the Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Life Sciences, at Maastricht University, to finish part of her Ph.D. as a guest researcher. In February 2021 she started her new role as a postdoc reseacher to work in the growing filed of soft robots. Her core research centers around mathematical modelling. Keyvanara has a background in control, dynamics and robotics, and is interested in using them towards real life problems such as advanced orthotic systems.
