Paul Gardien
RESEARCH PROFILE
Dr. ir. Paul Gardien is a TU/e Fellow. His research has examined how design can make innovation scale and create impact. Related to this is his interest in the role and position of the design discipline. His current work focuses on design entrepreneurship, the link between experience and outcome and the role of experience data and AI.
Paul is a former vice president of Philips Design, globally responsible for Design Strategy & Innovation. He is a member of various boards, e.g. CLICKNL, is a frequent keynote speaker at international design and innovation conferences, e.g. , IASDR, DMI, and with his team has won regularly mayor design awards, e.g. Red Dot, UX Design awards, etc.
