Doctoral Candidate

Raphaël Goetz

RESEARCH PROFILE

In January 2023, Raphaël started his PhD research in the Dynamics and Control group within the Mechanical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research is under the supervison of Nathan van de Wouw, Tom Oomen and Hans Zwart. The project involves the Dutch company ASML and is focused on the optimal placement of sensors and actuators for optimal thermal control.

In 2022, he did a 6-months internship at Robert Bosch GmbH focusing on the study and the design of optimization algorithms for real time control. He also carried out master projects at the Automatic control and systems Centre (CAS) of the Ecole des Mines and at the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) in Toulouse.
