RESEARCH PROFILE
Robert Pestman was born in 1968 in The Hague. In 1995 he obtained his PhD (cum laude) at the Leiden University in the group of prof. V. Ponec on the subject of the selective hydrogenation of carboxylic acids. Afterwards he started at DSM Research, where he mainly worked in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. In 2011 he joined as researcher the group of prof. E.J.M. Hensen.
