RESEARCH PROFILE
Viktor Kornilov (1971) is working in the field of combustion-acoustic interaction from 1998. He obtained his PhD on thermo-acoustic instability of combustion in 2006. From 2007 he is PostDoc in Combustion Technology group supervising research topics related to experimental methods of flame studies and combustion thermo-acoustic instability research. From 2009 he working at company MTT (www.wtt-eu.com) as combustion researcher with application to micro-turbine. Some other of his scientific interests are: particles and dust combustion, influence on combustion via (periodic) external forcing.
