Zumbul Atan’s main research interest is on multi-echelon supply chains subject to demand and supply uncertainties. The objective is to identify strategies to mitigate the impact of these uncertainties. Zumbul Atan also does research on revenue management and retail operations.
Zumbul Atan received her PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2010 from Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Lehigh University, PA, USA. She holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU) (2002) and Bilkent University (2004), respectively.
