Department / Institute
RESEARCH PROFILE
Duo Xu is a Doctoral Candidate at the Control Systems Group at the Department of Electrical Engineering. His research work is part of the IT2 European project (IC Technology for the 2nm node), under the supervision of dr. Mircea Lazar. In the project, he focuses on the design and implementation of advanced digital controllers for high precision power converters with ultra-high effective switching frequency.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Duo Xu obtained his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, in 2017. He obtained his MSc degree in Electric Power Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, in 2020. During his MSc degree, he attended the Erasmus exchange program at Delft University of Technology for 6 months. His MSc thesis, entitled “Model Predictive Control of Electric Machines in Commercial Vehicles” was conducted at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, under the supervision of Torbjörn Thiringer and Faisal Altaf.
