Victor Reyes Dreke
Department / Institute
RESEARCH PROFILE
Victor is currently working at the Control Systems (CS) Group at the Department of Electrical Engineering. He works on the project New Energy Outlooks for the Netherlands (NEON) as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Mircea Lazar. His focus is mainly on model-based control solutions and cooperative control methods in power electronics systems.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Victor Reyes received her Bachelor in Automation and Control Engineering in 2017 from the Technological University of Havana. After his Bachelor's, he worked as an Automation Engineer at Centro de Ingeniería Genética y Biotecnología for 1 year. In 2020, he received his MSc degree in Systems at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). His MSc thesis, entitled “Development of Machine Learning solution to validate models used in Model Predictive Control applications” was supervised by Claudio Garcia.
