Are you passionate about both AI and football?

Do you dream of applying AI in the world of football? Want to know how you can do your MSc graduation project at TU/e and KNVB on AI? Want to learn about the longstanding collaboration of KNVB and TU/e to stimulate Dutch football? Interested to know how we aim to increase the Dutch chances of success at European and World Championships?

Then come to this KNVB - TU/e event on April 4th from 16:00 – 17:30h at Neuron 0.262.
Afterwards there will be a small networking event at the EAISI HQ so that you can talk to involved KNVB and TU/e staff and others who dream of combining their AI knowledge and their passion for football.

Various MSc graduation projects start in September and February.

16.15 - 16.45 KNVB Data Analysis Department by Tim Janssen, MSc (KNVB)

16.45 - 17.00 Bringing Value to Dutch Football through AI Research and Development by ir. Thijs Overmeer (TU/e) 

17.00 - 17.15 Transitioning from TU/e student to Pioneering Data Science at KNVB by ir. Thijn Hermsen (KNVB)

17.15 - 17.30 AI Graduation projects

17.30 - 18.30 Networking & drinks at EAISI (Neuron 1.105)

 

Registration is required but free of charge. 
MSc students of all departments are welcome to join!

Over the next few years there will be 4-6 MSc graduation assignments per year.

For now these are only available to TU/e or JADS students.

Requirements:

Data Science and AI knowledge. A passion for (Dutch) football.

Currently the team on the TU/e side consists of MSc students, EngD students, a Scientific Programmer of EAISI (former MSc student), the Scientific Director of EAISI, student assistants and volunteers. The KNVB team consists of performance analysts, video analysts, platform programmers and a data scientist (also a former TU/e MSc student).
