Mini symposium Chemical Engineering and Chemistry with Klavs Jensen

Do you want to learn from the Top MIT Chemical Engineer Warren K. Lewis Professor Klavs Jensen? A Internationally renowned researcher who will visit TU/e on May 11th and 12th to talk to us about his work and to receive an honorary doctorate. You will have the chance to meet him on May 11th when we a mini symposium will  take place in the afternoon at Senaatszaal.

Klavs Jensen is one of the founders of the use of microreactors and microfluidic systems for the chemical synthesis with applications nowadays also including energy conversion, biochemistry and biology. He carries out ground-breaking research on catalysis, chemical kinetics and transport phenomena in such systems for biomedical, electronic and optical applications. He is also renowned for his work on multiscale simulations of reactive processes. The highly innovative work of Jensen is unique and world leading in the field of chemical technology. His research takes place at the interface of various disciplines such as chemistry, biology, microtechnology, materials science and fluid mechanics. Recently, he has been accelerating chemical discovery by combining flow, automation and machine learning.
