At work

As a registered architect or urban planner, there are many diverse professions to choose from. Demand for graduates is still on the rise, which results in good job opportunities in a wide variety of domains. You can be employed by firms large or small, specialized or otherwise, and you can also opt for a policy position in a government agency or an consultancy post in an organization or cooperative. You can often promote to a managerial position or you can start your own agency. Whatever profession you choose: you will be exposed, together with others, to the many facets of conceiving, mentoring and designing solutions to spatial preferences, plans and challenges. Further study

You can also decide on an academic career and opt for a four-year PhD or a two-year Engineering Doctorate (EngD program).
