I am truly passionate about science communication! Ever since I started my career as a researcher 10 years ago, I enjoy exploring alternative ways to communicate about science. In 2016 I received my Ph.D. degree in Neurocriminology from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. However, I wasn’t quite sure whether I wanted to continue an academic career. After working a few years as a postdoc researcher, I decided the commit myself fully to science communication. Winning the finals of Famelab Netherlands 2020 confirmed my desire to continue a career in science communication. I quit my job as a researcher and started working in science communication. As a science communicator, I encourage researchers to share their scientific stories so that in the end people outside academia can also enjoy and benefit from scientific research.
