Best Paper Award 2024
The Best Paper Award (BPA) is back. This year on May 27, the Postdoc Association will reward three postdocs for communicating their published work to a broad audience. In addition to the recognition, this award includes a cash prize up to 750 € for the winner! And there will be a special audience reward of 250 €. Time to shine!

The TU/e institutes that support the event will also promote the finalists in the period before the competition. We proudly organize this year's event in close cooperation with the Eindhoven Hendrik Casimir Institute (EHCI).
How to apply
Postdocs working at TU/e who published an article as a first author (without time or institution restriction) can apply.

March 15 | Application deadline
Submit your research article and the application form containing a 500-word summary to postdoc_association@tue.nl. The PDA Board members will pre-select ten research papers considering the ability to customize writing to a non-scientific audience and impact on society in their summaries.

May 2 | Pitch training finalists
Ten pre-selected postdocs will be trained by Barry Fitzgerald on May 2, 09:30 – 12:00 to do a 3-minute live pitch on the final event.
Participation in the pitch training is mandatory!

May 27 | Final event
Best Paper Award 2024 in the Blauwe Zaal, Auditorium, 16:00 – 18:00.
The candidates will perform their 3 minutes pitches followed by 2 minutes for questions from the jury members.
The jury will choose the winner and the runner up. The audience will select the candidate for the audience reward.
