Springer Author journey after cap has been reached
The maximum number of free Open Access publications is expected to be reached in early October 2021. After the cap of the VSNU agreement has been reached you will be given the choice to publish open access and the price of the Article Processing Charges (APC) will be specified. If you choose to publish Open Access you will receive an invoice for this APC.

| NWO pre 2021 calls | Upload the submitted manuscript (pre-peer review version) in our repository. This will be automatically made open access as soon as the paper is published. |
| Other or no funding | Upload the accepted manuscript (post-peer review version) in our repository. This will be made open access automatically 12 months after publication. |
