Noud Gademann

RESEARCH PROFILE
Noud Gademann is researcher in the field of supply chain strategy and excellence within the OPAC group since February 2015. Prior to that, from 1993 till 2004, he filled positions as assistant professor and researcher at the University of Twente in the field of Production and Operations Management and Warehouse Management, with a strong focus on the development and application of optimization models and algorithms. He obtained his MSc (in 1987, with honor) and PhD (in 1993) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente. Much of his research was done in cooperation with industry. He supervised many master students and was co-promotor of several PhD students. Since 1999 Noud Gademann also holds a position at ORTEC Consulting Group, currently as supply chain lead consultant. As supply chain lead consultant he is often responsible for business analysis and model development within customer projects. He is also leading the development of new consulting services on Supply Chain Strategy and Supply Chain Planning within ORTEC Consulting Group. He has a broad interest and experience in a large variety of industries, including discrete manufacturing, process industry, consumer goods and retail, warehousing and logistics, service industry, and rail services. Noud is married, has two daughters, and lives in IJsselstein.
