Atlas as a Living Lab
The Intelligent Lighting Institute (ILI), an institute that investigates new applications for intelligent lighting, uses Atlas as a ‘living lab’ to study which lighting concept can reduce absence due to SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder, or winter depression as it is known in the Netherlands). The stairwell and the roof of the building also offer possibilities to study building materials, PV systems and other components of the building.
The Atlas Living Lab is open for research proposals from any group at TU/e. In case of interest, please contact the labcoordinator via atlaslivinglab@tue.nl.
