I’m fascinated with the implications that AI could have for the future in general, and more specifically its opportunities and threats in business. Innovation Management seemed the place to be to investigate these questions. For an exploratory research project, I looked at the effect of AI implementation within Adobe. What changes would occur as a result? We also looked at a broader scope through public values like trust, bias, etc. It is a very new subject, where not a lot of research had been done. This gave us the opportunity to look at a brand new event in the market as it was happening. We were even able to use and test our theories with language models.

I was born and raised in Eindhoven and until now, I’ve only had reasons to stay. It is one of the most innovative areas in the world, which is perfect if you are looking to start a career at the cutting edge of innovation. The technical and mathematical approach to business studies that is offered at TU/e suited my goals. What I’ve enjoyed the most here is the warmth and joy among colleagues and students. In the future, I’d like to start a career in the direction of R&D management, preferably in a consulting company that oversees a multitude of start-ups and scale-ups.
