Diversity Week 2023 (October 9-13)

Theme: ‘Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Classroom’

The TU/e warmly invites all students and staff to join the workshops and events during the Diversity Week. We would like to encourage all the members of our community to have open conversations about Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Classroom. Together with students, support and teaching staff we are going to have open and honest conversations through discussion sessions and workshops to truly understand each other's perspective on this topic. Why does equity, diversity and inclusion in the classroom apply to everyone? How can a diverse team make space for more understanding towards each other? Our goal is to not only let our minority groups share their thoughts on the topic of diversity, inclusion, social safety and mental health, but to include everyone. This way we hope that we all truly feel part of the discussion and feel welcome in our community by openly engaging in the discussion of these themes.

Throughout the week there will be a mixture of workshops, a presentation, dialogue and festivities to embrace and celebrate diversity, equity and inclusion on our campus. Below you can find the overview and information of all events.

For those of you who have further ideas on diversity and inclusion, feel free to email (diversity@tue.nl) or join the Diversity Contest. Your brilliant idea might be worth €5000. More info on the D&I webpage

We hope to see many of you at the events!
