When it came to choosing between Innovation Management (IM) and Operations Management and Logistics (OML), I was torn. What drew me in was OML's blend of strategic and operational courses – exactly the combination I was looking for, with a focus on the business management courses. The project I’ve enjoyed most has been my master thesis project, focused on the network (platform) economy. Even though the most successful organizations today are network-based, many fail to co-create value effectively. My project identifies the critical success factors necessary for a thriving network-based business model. Once the project is finished, I'll be equipped to help organizations in innovating their network business models, solving societal and sustainability challenges, and making international impacts.

I picked TU/e for a multitude of reasons, such as its technical studies, the curriculum flexibility, and the friendly atmosphere. Living in Eindhoven is like being part of a close-knit community; you always bump into familiar people, and there's always something going on. As for the future, my TU/e degree has helped me develop an industrial engineering mindset – optimizing processes, implementing strategies, and designing solutions to organizational problems. I can visualize the current and desired states of a process, and bridge the gap between them. I want to carry this skill set into a career in (strategic) consultancy.
