Where Innovation meets Sustainability.

The GO Green office is the sustainability hub for all students at the TU/e Campus. As a TU/e organization driven by students, we continuously interact with the student community by hosting events, supporting student initiatives, and exhibiting TU/e sustainability projects in the Green Room which can be found in the forum of the Atlas building.

We actively represent students on topics regarding sustainability within the decision-making processes of our university and do so by enabling the sharing of knowledge and student-input on this topic as much as possible. Green Week 2024 will take place from the 3rd until the 7th of June, 2024

From June 3rd to 7th, immerse yourself in all things sustainable during the TU/e Green Week 2024! Join us for a lineup packed with workshops, a hackathon, and many insightful discussions.

We're thrilled to kick off with Thomas Plantenga, CEO of Vinted and TU/e alumnus, sharing his expertise on entrepreneurship and sustainability in the clothing industry.

But that's just the beginning! Explore biodiversity on campus, take part in an AI hackathon, a composting workshop or the world-renowned Climate Fresk workshop, learn to mend your clothes and your bike, learn to handle anxiety around the changing climate, listen to lectures on sustainable banking and transformative energy and so much more! Our Why.

Green Campus

We strive to make the TU/e the most sustainable university campus of the Netherlands by 2030. As GO Green Office, we aim to enable a bottom-up approach, led by students, who are actively involved in the shift towards a more sustainable TU/e. For this we continuously work together with students, associations, staff and TU/e leadership.
Community

As students, our voices can encourage the university and its associated organizations to become more sustainable. Together with the student associations, study associations, and student teams we push for more sustainable practices, on and off campus. Together we increase awareness and build on sustainable operations, education, governance.
Education

TU/e students are the future engineers who will invent and lead the innovations of tomorrow. It is essential that they are adequately educated and prepared to do this while keeping sustainability in mind. This is why we, together with students and staff, are promoting to embed sustainability more actively within education, focusing on practical and relevant additions to the curriculum.
