Building bridges between innovations in the laboratory and their applications in the real world. That's what the master's track Advanced Manufacturing across the Scales is all about. This master's track  offers the ideal combination of gaining technical knowledge of high-tech manufacturing systems, production processes and supply chains. You develop breakthrough ideas in the lab and develop them into impactful, practical applications. With delicate lab-scale innovations, you revolutionise on a mass scale to improve lives.

One of the most fascinating projects during my master's program was the development of a scalable manufacturing process for nervous system on chip (NoC) technology. Our task was to develop an efficient manufacturing process. By enabling large-scale production of NoC technology, we will hopefully provide a more efficient, accurate platform for assessing the neurotoxic effects of various substances. This may also help accelerate the development of treatments for neurological diseases, such as Parkinson's.

I chose TU/e because it is an ideal incubator for realizing ambitious dreams. There is a thriving innovative ecosystem and close cooperation between industry and academia. The combination of technical knowledge, understanding of high-tech manufacturing ecosystems and the innovative business processes that form the basis of my master's degree at TU/e give me the perfect foundation for a career that I hope will have a major impact on the world of tomorrow.
