I really enjoy living here and consider it as my home.BSc Elena Miloskovska, student
After my Bachelor in Polymers and Engineering in Macedonia, I worked as a process engineer and assistant production manager in a printed circuit boards factory. But it was time for something new.
I was always keen to go abroad, not just to get a better education but also to learn about different cultures and nationalities. No lack of that in the Netherlands! It reminds me a bit of my own country, except for the mountains of course! I was also admitted to other European universities, but my first choice was the TU/e. It’s very important for international students that almost everybody speaks English – no other country in Europe is as internationally oriented as the Netherlands. In September I start my graduation project. I’m going to do research at the TU/e on bio-composites based on cellulose fibers. When I’m not studying, I’m active in the Japie students’ association. I’m trying to get more international students involved in all the activities like seminars and conferences. I’m also trying to visit as many European countries as possible and I go to concerts and other cultural events. I really enjoy living here and consider it as my home. I like the country and what I do. What more could you wish for?
