During your graduation project (45 credit points), which lasts three quarters of the academic year, you will further develop the expertise and skills you have developed during the first year of the master's program Mechanical Engineering. You will demonstrate your ability to independently carry out a research or design project. This project, which will help you learn to use a scientific way of working to find solutions to specific problems, can be carried out in one of the research laboratories at the department, or in industry. Approximately half the graduation projects are carried out in industry. The topic of your graduation project will lie within the field of research of the research group concerned.
The graduation project results in a report, a presentation and an oral defense. Below, some examples of posters of graduation projects from the different graduation specializations are given.
Computationals and Experimental Mechanics
Dynamical Systems Design
Thermo Fluids Engineering
Micro and Nano Technology
