During my BSc, I focused on optimizing energy efficiency in residential buildings through active and passive strategies. Shifting to my MSc, I concentrated on digitizing an Italian hospital by utilizing machine learning data to uncover patterns for enhanced operations and increased building energy efficiency.

I'm deeply engaged in an exciting venture centered on Model Predictive Control (MPC). I aim to create a platform using a digital twin to manage lighting, cooling, and heating. This starts with detailed data generation mirroring the building's operations, including thorough daylighting and thermal simulations.

This data is then used to craft a precise building daylighting and thermal model. Once integrated into the MPC system, the building can autonomously respond to real-time data. This academic chapter underscores my dedication to innovative solutions, be it boosting the sustainability of residences or reshaping office functionality. The main focus is on effective MPC use and creating accurate building data.
