In the coming years/decades the digitization process of our traffic system will undoubtedly proceed. Technologies such as connected and autonomous vehicles are expected to revolutionize the entire transport and mobility sector. In my project for KPN, I develop a platform that facilitates the simulation and visualization of futuristic traffic systems, enabling the exploration and investigation of the potential of emerging technologies.

During my physics studies I studied the fundamental laws governing the behavior of natural phenomenon. Subsequently, intrigued by the seemingly infinite potential of artificial intelligence, I decided to follow a master program in AI. Finally, armed with my analytical and computational skills I deemed it the right time to take a leap into the more tangible field of smart buildings and cities. Currently I am five months in and I can safely say that I joined a very open and diverse program with a contagiously enthusiastic working spirit.
