Arnoud Crommelin is policy advisor Mobility within the province Gelderland. His key challenges are in developing strategies and plans for mobility with the focus at mobility as a service and sustainability in public transport.

The province of Gelderland has adopted a leading role in the introduction of new mobility concepts in public transport. In our vision these new concepts will play a crucial part in new mobility due to the changing behaviour of customers (share economy), technical and IT developments, demographic trends and the ungoing attention for energy transition.

This course of action leads to a range of questions about the governance of the newly developing mobility networks, the strategies to promote the adoption of new concepts in de public transport sector and the cooperation that is needed between public and private parties and the form these new concepts will adopt.

In this project we want to collaborate with the other parties to find an answer for these questions.
