Yoeri van de Burgt in ACS Nano and ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces

Recently, Yoeri van de Burgt published two articles on biological cell material interaction. The first article demonstrates a novel method of visualising cell material  interaction on the nanoscale using a FIB/SEM measurement technique and was published in ACS Nano: Revealing the Cell-Material Interface with Nanometer Resolution by Focused Ion Beam/Scanning Electron Microscopy.

The second article continues on this work by combining this FIB/SEM method with electrical impedance modelling to demonstrate enhanced attachment of cells on femtosecond laser-patterned organic substrates and was published in ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces: Enhanced Cell–Chip Coupling by Rapid Femtosecond Laser Patterning of Soft PEDOT:PSS Biointerfaces.
