My name is Boy van Minderhout and I’m a third year bachelor student Applied Physics. Currently I’m doing by BSc internship at the research group Science and technology of Fusion. The aim of my project is to analyse and measure the radiation spectrum of the plasmas used in the Hirsch-Farnsworth Fusor.

It is my goal to contribute to a more sustainable world. From my point of view Fusion is a promising research field in a sense that it could provide a means to deal with the global energy challenge.
