Hi, my name is Timo van Overveld. After finishing my Bachelor Applied Physics in 2016, I started the MSc program ‘Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion’ in September 2016 as a double degree with the Master Applied Physics. The combination of these two studies offers the possibility to gain knowledge on fundamental processes in fluid mechanics and plasma physics, while at the same time applying them to a real project. Being able to develop myself in both physics and engineering has been an important reason for choosing these programs in the first place. In the future I hope to make a contribution to the development of a feasible Nuclear Fusion power plant.
