Hi! My name is Daan and I'm working on simulations of impurity transport in Tokamaks.This requires the connection of a Fluid model (MHD) with a Particle-In-Cell code (PIC) to accurately simulate Tungsten atoms in a hot plasma. The accumulation of impurities in the core plasma can place strict limits on the operation of ITER, and relatively little is known about it still. I hope to figure this out and help achieve clean energy through Tokamak fusion.
